The sitting room & dining.

The spacious open plan dining and sitting area is stylishly furnished with a dining table seating up to 8 people, a large comfortable sofa, wood burning stove, Satelite TV.

The sitting area gives direct access through two large full length patio doors to a new wooden decked terrace which runs the full length of the house.

On this terrace there is a barbecue and dining area. A place for relaxing with views looking down to the willow and aspen along the mountain stream and to the olive terraces beyond backed by the forest.

The back of the Quinta has a dining and sunbathing deck, Alentejo, Portugal.

Alentejo cottages.

Originally the house comprised two separate traditional Alentejo cottages with a watermill for grinding grain but they have been joined and renovated with the construction following the terrain of the olive terraces.

A house of surprises. Low and whitewashed, clinging by its toes to the hillside, it opens up to reveal vast sunny spaces with breathtaking views over the gentle slopes of the Sao Lourenço valley...
